Advocacy Chair
Are you familiar with all the changes happening with education in our state? Is it a passion of yours to inform others on these changes both good or bad? WE NEED YOU! We are looking for someone to lead advocacy—someone to help educate and inform the community and parents about decisions being made for NC Education.
Grade Parent Lead
We need a volunteer to lead the overall Grade Level communication and organization. This could include finding grade level parents, communicating PTA events, helping to organize grade level events for parents to get to know each other, etc.
Special Education Inclusion Committee (SEIC) Liaison
The SEIC Liaison has 2 key roles:
To offer ideas for accommodations to PTA programs that facilitate inclusion of the whole school community.
To serve as a link to resources for parents and educators on special education and related community services.
